VISALIA, Calif. - News reports say two police officers in the Central Valley city of Visalia have been shot.
KFSN-TV and the Fresno Bee said the shooting occurred around 1:30 p.m. Thursday. A dispatcher told The Associated Press the shootings were not fatal.
The Fresno Bee said Visalia Police Chief Colleen Mestas was going to brief the media shortly outside Kaweah Delta Medical Center. No further information was immediately available.
