SEASIDE, Calif. -

Police in the Monterey County community of Seaside have arrested a woman after her baby died and they say she tried to hide the body.

Officials say officers arrested Jennifer Cecelia Warren around 9 p.m. Friday after receiving information that the remains of a baby were hidden behind a home.

Investigators said they found the body of an infant that was "significantly" decomposed.

The age of the baby or other details of its death were not known.  Seaside police did not immediately return calls to The Associated Press seeking details of the incident.
