BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The cancer charity that Lance Armstrong started has dropped his name from its title.

The Lance Armstrong Foundation will now only be known as 'Livestrong', the word inscribed on those yellow wristbands.

Armstrong founded the cancer charity in 1997, after he was diagnosed with testicular cancer.

For years the official title was the 'Lance Armstrong Foundation'.

Armstrong stepped away from the organization last month after the US anti-doping agency stripped him of his seven Tour de France titles over doping allegations.
