KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Sometimes you just need a drink.
KCPD officers said a man used a brick Thursday evening to shatter the window of a costume shop at 20th and Grand in the Crossroads District, then went to a nearby bar for a drink while wearing the costume.
A brief chase ensued between the costume shop and the bar, according to local journalist Autumn MorningSky, who was at The Cashew bar nearby. She tweeted the events as they unfolded.
