New airline fees may be in store the next time you book a trip

(AP) -- Airlines will be introducing a new bevy of fees they're hoping passengers will like. Passengers can pay more for anything from renting Apple iPads preloaded with movies, hot firs-class meals in coach and having the seat next to them empty.
Fees bring in more than $15 billion a year and are the reason the airlines are profitable, but there's only a limited amount of money they can make from charges like baggage and reservation change fees.
