President Obama briefed on Boston Marathon bombing developments

One suspect dead; second suspect at large

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Justice Department says Attorney General Eric Holder and FBI Director Robert Mueller are briefing President Barack Obama at the White House on developments in the Boston Marathon bombing investigation.

One bombing suspect is dead and a second remains at large.

Thousands of officers have swarmed the streets in a manhunt that all but paralyzed the Boston area.
