KOUNTZE, Texas - A group of cheerleaders has filed a restraining order against their own school because of a controversial message on some of their football banners.
The banners are said to have a religious message with a cross across them.
School administrators in Texas told the cheerleaders they can no longer use the signs after an atheist organization filed a complaint.
But a judge filed a restraining order against the school and said the girls are free to express their religious beliefs.
The restraining order will remain in effect for two weeks, when both sides will get the chance to present their arguments.
