Lloyd Lindsay Young comes to 23 ABC for the 5, 6 and 11 PM news with three decades of television experience. Lloyd has worked in every city from the very small like Idaho Falls Idaho to the number one market in the nation New York City.Lloyd also works for powerhouse KGO radio in San Francisco and has been with them for the past 10 years as the afternoon weather person.Lloyd is thrilled to be back in Bakersfield where he met his wife Barbara 40 years ago.
Barbara and Lloyd have 3 children, including former Bakersfield weathercaster George Lindsay Young, who is now in real estate in Southern California. Marlene Young is a school teacher at the college level in Denver and Nancy Young is an account executive with a television station in Sacramento.Lloyd grew up in Los Angeles and was always very excited about the weather.It all started in the 50's when it snowed two inches in Hollywood and the love affair with weather has never ended.
