Dolphins Sign Pair Of Players

(Sports Network) - The Miami Dolphins signed safety Travares Tillman and tackle Mike Rosenthal to a one-year contracts on Friday.

Tillman played in 14 games with the Dolphins last year and recorded 42 tackles and three passes defended. He originally joined the Dolphins as an unrestricted free agent from Carolina in 2005, and in his two seasons in Miami, he has started 17 of the 30 games and has totaled 96 tackles and three interceptions.

Rosenthal arrives in South Beach after starting 58 of the 89 games he has played in his NFL career. Rosenthal was originally a fifth-round draft choice of the New York Giants in 1999. He played with the Giants for four seasons before signing with the Minnesota Vikings as an unrestricted free agent in 2003.

Last year with the Vikings, Rosenthal appeared in 15 games, including three starts at right tackle.
