Indianapolis, IN -- (Sports Network) - Indianapolis Colts starting outside linebacker Tyjuan Hagler was placed on injured reserve Wednesday after suffering a ruptured biceps in Sunday's game against the 49ers.

Hagler recorded 26 tackles in seven games this season. He has never played more than 12 games in his four-year career with Indianapolis.

Philip Wheeler is expected to see more time at linebacker with the absence of Hagler.
