The Coroner Section of the Kern County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual, whose body was discovered in the Sequoia National Forest below Cedar Creek Campground near rural Glennville on September 12, 2009.

The coroner said the body appears to be that of a Caucasian, Hispanic or Asian man approximately 16 to 25 years old. He is between 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing about 145 to 200 pounds with medium length dark brown hair.

A pair of black, square lenses eyeglasses where found near the body.

The subject was dressed in dark athletic type clothing.

Other clothing and items found near the body indicated the individual enjoyed Walt Disney movies and characters.

Anyone with information that would assist in the identity of this individual should contact the Kern County Sheriff Coroner at 661-868-0100.
