Free Breast Cancer Screenings Offered In Delano

DELANO, Calif. -- The Delano Women's Medical Clinic is reaching out to women across Kern County in an effort to fight breast cancer.This Saturday, its clinicians will provide free clinical breast screenings to any woman of any age.Organizers said their health care professionals will also demonstrate how to perform regular self breast exams.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said aside from skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women and it is the number one cause of cancer death in Hispanic women.Workers said if they find that something is wrong, and you do not have insurance, they will find ways for you to get covered.The clinic is this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Delano Women's Medical Clinic at 2101 Jefferson Street in Delano.More Information On Breast Cancer
