BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Vandals have heavily damaged and stolen school equipment from North High School. The Kern High School District is asking for your help in catching whoever did it.The school could take a significant financial hit and the timing of this robbery couldn't be any worse because of the states budget crisis.
Officials said that they want the suspect caught and the items returned.Officer Shane Dishman, of the KHSD, said, “They were there for quite awhile, they had the opportunity to do some shopping. They were able to get away with lots of property.”The men had a field day as they broke into three different buildings damaging and stealing school supplies totaling $40,000.The good news is it was caught on tape. One of the men was brazen enough to think he was not going to get caught and took off his mask.If you recognize the man in the picture or have any information, contact police.
