Parks Department Moves To New Location

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Beginning Monday, March 15, the Kern County Parks and Recreation Department administrative offices will be located at 2820 M Street in Bakersfield, which is around the corner from the Department’s current 1110 Golden State Avenue address.The Parks Department will remain open at its current Golden State Avenue location through 5:00 p.m.Friday, March 12. Furniture and equipment will be moved over the weekend, and the Department will reopen at 2820 M Street on Monday, March 15 at 8:00 a.m.
Regular business hours will remain 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.Telephone numbers will also remain (661) 868-7000 for Parks Department administration and (661) 868-7050 for Buena Vista Aquatic Recreation Area.
