Man Arrested On Charges Of Molesting 12-Year-Old

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- An 18-year-old man was arrested from his home after deputies said that he had been allegedly molesting a 12-year-old girl.On July 27, the Kern County Sheriff's Department began an investigation into a report by a 12-year-old girl that she was being molested by an 18-year-old male neighbor.Deputies reported that these alleged crimes were taking place at a home in the 500 block of Rose Avenue in Taft.
When the 12-year-old came forward with the allegations, Adrian Perez, 18, fled the Taft area, deputies said.On Oct. 15, deputies said that Perez was possibly at a home in Ceres, Calif.On Oct. 16 detectives from the Ceres Police Department located and arrested Perez on the 500 block of Foster Avenue in Ceres.Perez was transported and booked at the Central Receiving Facility on charges of 2 counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under 14 and 1 count of unlawful sex.
