Man Killed After Bus Slams Into Crashed Truck

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- A man has died after crashing his truck on Interstate 5 Monday morning and then getting hit by a bus.The California Highway Patrol said the crash happened near Fort Tejon.The CHP said they’re not sure why the 23-year-old driver crashed into the median, but said his pickup came to rest in the middle two lanes without any headlights.
That's when a bus -- carrying 36 passengers -- crashed into the pickup, killing that driver, the CHP said.No one on the bus was injured.
