20-Mile Segment Of Highway 99 To Be Closed

The California Department of Transportation in cooperation with Contractor Interstate Improvement Company will start work on a 20-mile project to smooth concrete pavement along northbound Highway 99.

CALTrans said the $2.4 million project will run from Nov. 7 until Nov. 20. The construciton will begin daily at 7 a.m. for the number one lane and will last until 6 p.m. and then from 7 p.m. utnil 10 p.m. for lanes number two and three.

The closure will start at Interstate 5 and run to Panama Lane on northbound Highway 99.

During these times traffic will be backed up so please drive with caution.
