H1N1 Vaccine Clinics Updated
Public Health Urges People To Treat Campuses With Respect

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The public's cooperation has been requested during the H1N1 vaccine clinics to be conducted at various locations in Kern County in the coming days.Three of the clinics will be conducted at Kern High School District sites where students will be on campus and educational efforts are ongoing, noted John Teves, KHSD Public Information Officer. The first of the clinics is to be held on Thursday at the KHSD's Stockdale High in the school cafeteria from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m."The Kern High school District is making some campuses available for H1N1 vaccine clinics over the next few days in the interest of public health," Teves said. "We are asking the general public to try and use the parking areas and pathways set up specifically for public access to the clinic," Teves said. "Public cooperation in this regard will result in a more efficient clinic while maintaining the normalcy of school site operations," he said.
Public Health has noticed that people are starting to show up to stand in line as early as 6 hours prior to the doors opening on the H1N1 Clinics.It is always their concern and wish that the public respect not only their buildings and locations but especially those of their partners who have graciously allowed them the opportunity to better serve the public by using their facilities.Thursday, October 29, 2009 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Stockdale High School.
Parking is in the White Lane parking lot (east of Buena Vista Road) Enter the campus through the gate located at the northwest corner of the parking lot Signs will direct the public to the main doors of the cafeteria, west of the parking lot entrance Saturday, October 31, 2009 from 9 am to 12 pm at South High School.
Parking is located on the corner of Planz Road and Sandra, at the northwest corner of the campus Enter the campus through the gate located at the south end of the parking lot Signs will direct the public to the main doors of the cafeteria Tuesday, November 3, 2009 from 4 pm to 7 pm at North High School.
