4 Accused Of Stealing Glasses From Store

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance identifying multiple people accused of theft.Sgt. Mary DeGeare said that on Jan. 6 at about 11:20 a.m., four people entered Lenscrafters at 2427 Ming Avenue, and spent about 10 minutes concealing dozens of prescription eyeglass frames in their clothing.DeGeare said the woman handed the majority of the frames to the men who concealed the glasses and left the store without paying for them.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is encouraged to call Detective Pete Cavazos at 326-3561.
