TITLE OF POSITION: ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
DUTIES: McGraw-Hill Broadcasting in Bakersfield, CA is currently seeking an aggressive, enthusiastic, motivated & dedicated Sales Representative to join our Sales Team.The Account Executive will solicit, develop and service new business within the local Bakersfield area. Some national sales opportunities possible.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business, maintaining existing accounts, presenting and researching in-depth sales presentations - all within the broadcasting industry.. Additional responsibilities include assisting TV sales staff in selling Web and mobile products, and pre- and post-sale work such as order entry and campaign management.
REQUIREMENTS: Prior broadcast sales experience preferred (TV, Radio, Cable). Excellent communication skills along with a proven track record in a sales position required. Computer knowledge and usage is essential. Ability to cope with pressures of business and priorities is a definite plus, as is working in a team environment. Bilingual in Spanish preferred..
