New drills for Drillers on BHS Football team

The BHS football team has adopted a new way to train during the off-season. The Drillers have set aside the traditional weightlifting exercises and have concentrated on a new, innovative way to increase fitness and speed.

It's a cross-training program used by several coaches in Northern California. BHS is the first in the Bakersfield area to try the program. It involves a series of timed, repetitive drills that focuses on stamina, strength, and balancing your core area.

Head Coach Paul Golla will continue this program throughout the season.
