Students at Fairview Elementary School in Bakersfield got a surprise today when Cal, the Condors mascot, stopped by to give some physical fitness tips. All 5th grade students are required by the state to take part in a "Fitness Testing Event" later this year. Baby Cal helped with situps and other exercises to help introduce the group to the kinds of physical exertion needed when testing begins.
