BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Cal State men's basketball team probably won't want to see any more Mountain West Conference opponents on the schedule anytime soon after the Roadrunners lost to Wyoming, 61-53, Wednesday night in a rare game at Rabobank Arena.

Cal State lost to the Cowboys for the second time this year and for the fourth time overall to a Mountain West Conference team.

The Roadrunners other two losses came at the hands of MWC members UNLV and San Diego State.

CSUB shot just 13 percent from the field in the first half (3-22) and trailed by 14 at the break.

However, Stephon Carter, who need 34 points coming in to become Cal State's all-time leading scorer, led the team with 20 points as the Roadrunners made a comeback and were just down by four with 2:44 remaining.

The Cowboys would hold on, though, led by Larry Nance Jr's 17 points.
