Bakersfield Condors officially welcome new head coach, Troy Mann

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors officially welcomed their new head coach Troy Mann to the organization this morning.

On July 17, Troy Mann was introduced to the community at a press conference in the downtown Marriott.

The Condors announced that Mann would be the fifth head coach in Condors history on June 21.

Mann, 43, has spent the last eight seasons in the coaching ranks including the past four campaigns as an assistant coach with the Hersey Bears of the American Hockey League. During his time in Hershey, the Bears went a remarkable 180-100-10-22 including an AHL record-setting campaign in 2009-10.

Under his leadership, nine current Washington Capitals were developed in Hershey.
