BAKESFIELD, Calif. - Bakersfield College continues to feel the frustration of having a second appeal rejected this week in light of sanctions levied against their football program.
The California Community College Athletic Association sent the school an e-mail last Friday rejecting the second appeal, which follows a rejection of an initial appeal by BC to the Southern California Football Association in June.,
BC has 10 business days from July 22 to launch a third appeal of the sanctions, which include the forfeiture of the team's 2012 state football title and all victories from both the 2011 and 2012 seasons, respectively.
