BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Bakersfield College head football coach Jeff Chudy spoke to the media Wednesday, one day after his football program was sanctioned for violations committed by a booster club.
The Southern California Football Association and California Community College Athletics Association stripped BC of all victories from the 2011 and 2012 seasons, including their 2012 state title victory, being ruled ineligible for postseason play in 2013 and receiving two years of probation.
BC received the sanctions based on rules broken by boosters from The Helmet Club.
Chudy wanted to clear the air and let the media know he was very disappointed in the sanctions, saying in part they were an "injustice".
