BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The third-ranked Bakersfield College volleyball team had little trouble in sweeping Cuesta College Wednesday night in a non-conference affair at Gil Bishop Gymnasium.
BC outside hitter Caitlin Bernadin displayed her power in the third game by breaking it open with consecutive aces and a service winner to give the Renegades a 20-5 advantage before finishing things off for the easy win.
BC opens Western State Conference play Friday night when it hosts West L.A. at Gil Bishop Coliseum in a 7 O'Clock start.
