BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Bakersfield College head coach Jeff Chudy, tight end Mike Dunn and defensive end Kelyon Hollis received recognition from JC Athletic Bureau All-American.

Chudy was chosen as its Coach of the Year, while Dunn and Hollis garnered first-team All-American honors.

The Renegades were state champions for the first time in school history, winning their final eight games under Chudy's leadership.

A former West High standout, Dunn was a huge target for BC quarterback Brian Burrell throughout the season, including getting a touchdown reception in the state title game against City College of San Francisco.

Hollis helped lead a defense which gave up 12 points per game through its final eight contests, including the team's 35-14 title-clinching win.
