BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield High boys basketball team defeated North, 55-20, Wednesday night at the Lloyd Williams Shootout at North High.
The Drillers scored the first 17 points of the contest, led by Stephon Newsome and Anthony Wright.
North scored their first points of the contest near the end of the first quarter on a Brandon Baker three-pointer.
