BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Bakersfield and Clovis West High Schools scored all of the game's goals in the first half.  Unfortunately for the Drillers, they came up on the short end of a 2-1 loss Friday night in a Division I quarterfinal  at BHS.

The game was tied at one when the Golden Eagles scored the eventual game-winner with less than three minutes remaining in the first half.

BHS received a first-round bye but couldn't get in any type of rhythm against the Golden Eagles, even though they threatened several times in the second half.
