Blaze get another win over High Desert

Bakersfield, Calif. - Ryan Wright had two home runs and three RBIs to lead a 15-hit attack and lead the Blaze to a 12-10 victory over High Desert Tuesday night at Sam Lynn Ballpark.

Wright hit a solo shot in the second to give the Blaze a 3-1 lead, and he came back in the seventh with a two-run shot as part of a five-run inning for the Blaze.

Kyle Waldrop also homered in the victory, the fifth consecutive win for the Blaze, who now have an off day on Wednesday before beginning a four-game series with Stockton Thursday night.

The Blaze led 5-3 in the fifth before High Desert scored three times in the inning on two wild pitches and a passed ball to take a 6-5 lead.

However, the Blaze tied things at six in the sixth on a Juan Silverio single which scored Waldrop.

The Blaze would go on to score five more times in the seventh, break a 7-7 tie and hold on for the win.
