Blaze bats quiet in loss to Visalia Tuesday night
Blaze can't get untracked in loss to Rawhide

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Blaze, coming off a 19-hit performance in a win over Visalia Monday night, ironically outhit Visalia but lost, 9-3, to the Rawhide Tuesday night at Sam Lynn Ballpark.
Ryan Court and Sean Jamieson had three RBIs each for Visalia as they handed Blaze hurler Carlos Contreras his sixth defeat of the season.
Contreras (3-6) gave up a two-run homer to Court in the third inning to break up a scoreless tie and Court later added a RBI single in the fifth to put the Rawhide up 3-0.
Visalia added four runs in the seventh to stretch their lead to 7-1 and the Rawhide led 9-1 heading into the ninth before the Blaze scored two in the final inning.
Rawhide pitcher Robert Coe (1-2) got the win by going five and a third, giving up one earned and striking out six.
These two teams meet in the series finale Wednesday night at Sam Lynn Ballpark in a 7:45 start.
