Blaze extend their winning streak to six game with extra inning victory over Stockton

Blaze defeat Stockton in extras

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Steve Selsky's single in the bottom of the 11th scored Ryan Wright and was the difference in the Blaze 4-3 victory over Stockton Thursday night at Sam Lynn Ballpark.

With the win, the Blaze have now won six games in a row, including their fourth win in a row on this seven-game homestand.

Blaze pitcher Jonathan Moscot kept his team in contention by pitching five innings, giving up just two earned runs and striking out six in a no-decision.

Juan Silverio opened the scoring in the fourth with a RBI single to score Kyle Waldrop and give the Blaze a 1-0 lead.

The Blaze trailed 2-1 in the fifth when Marquez Smith hit a two-run homer to centerfield as the Blaze regained the lead 3-2.

Stockton tied things at three by scoring a run in the seventh, but Selsky settled the issue a little later.
