BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Former Centennial High standout Dusty Robinson went 1-for-2 with a run scored and Stockton held on for a 3-2 victory over the Blaze Friday night at Sam Lynn Ballpark.
The loss snapped a six-game winning streak for the Blaze as the two teams played the second game of their four-game series.
Robinson scored the game's first run when he crossed the plate on a single from Addison Russell to give the Ports a 1-0 lead.
They upped the lead to 3-0 in the sixth on a bases-loaded double from Antonio Lamas to score two runs.
The Blaze scored two late runs but it wasn't enough to keep the Blaze winning streak from going down the drain.
