BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - An early season volleyball battle between Centennial and Stockdale turned into the Golden Hawks defeating the Mustangs in three games in Southwest Yosemite League play Tuesday night.
Centennial used a power game to keep the Mustangs off balance all night and turn Stockdale head coach Maria Collatz team into a confused bunch at the end of the night.
With the win, Centennial improves to 2-0 in SWYL play, 11-4 overall. Stockdale falls to 1-1, 13-10.
