BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Centennial girls basketball team dominated from start to near-finish as Clovis Buchanan outscored the Golden Hawks 16 to 2 in the fourth quarter, blew an 11-point fourth-quarter lead and lost, 39-36, in a first round Division I playoff game Tuesday night at Centennial High.
Centennial led, 34-23, entering the fourth quarter but only scored two points in the final stanza. Buchanan scored the game's final seven points to advance to the second round.
