CSUB baseball preparing for final homestand of the season

CSUB baseball set to host Seattle University

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Head coach Bill Kernen's CSUB baseball team hosts Seattle University on Friday night in the first game of a three-game homestand and the team's final home series this year.

The Roadrunners are currently in first place in the Western Athletic Conference, a game ahead of both UT Arlington and Texas State, both tied for second place.

The Pilots are coming to Hardt Field with hopes of hanging on to the eighth and final spot to participate in the WAC Tournament.

The Roadrunners are hoping to play consistently in the final week and a half to garner the number one seed in the tournament.
