McKenzie sets school record for wins Friday night

BAKERSFIELD, CALIF. - Mylz Jones had three hits, two RBIs and scored two runs in Cal State's 10-4 win over Dallas Baptist in a Western Athletic Conference affair Friday night at Hardt Field.

The Roadrunners scored six runs in the third inning to expand a 2-1 lead to an 8-1 advantage on the strength of RBI singles from Jones and Frank Martinez.  Another run scored on a double-play groundout and Oscar Sanay driving in two runs with a bases-loaded double.

McKenzie scattered 10 hits in 6 2/3 inning work while Taylor Aikenhead pitched the final 2 1/3 to earn the save. 

With his ninth victory, McKenzie set a new school record for wins in a season.
