BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Cal State women's basketball team shot a season-high 51% but couldn't hold off Fresno State in a 77-68 defeat to Fresno State Thursday night at the Icardo Center.
Center Janae Coffee led CSUB with 21 points to go with nine boards and six blocks.
However, the Roadrunners had four turnovers midway through the second half which proved costly and never could recover.
The loss was the eighth consecutive for CSUB. The Roadrunners hit the court again on Saturday when they travel to Reno to face Nevada.
