East plays steady all night in victory over Highland
East boys get early lead, don't give it away

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The East Blades boys basketball team clinched at least a share of the Southeast Yosemite League title with a 68-52 win over Highland Friday night at Highland High.
The Blades took a 10-point lead into the half and never let up as Blades starters Fatai Eke had 25 points and a game-high 18 rebounds while Tevin Beasley had 26 points and 14 rebounds.
East remains undefeated in SEYL play as well with the win.
