Foothill Announces Sports Hall of Fame Inductees

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Lonnie Shelton, Ned Permenter and Joey Porter headlined 15 inductees headed to the inaugural Foothill Sports Hall of Fame.
Shelton was a basketball, track and football standout prior to graduating in 1973, Permenter coached the Trojans football team for 37 years and Porter was a standout football player for Permenter before playing at Colorado State and spending 13 seasons in the NFL.
The inaugural Foothill Sports Hall of Fame dinner will take place on April 5, 2013.
