Freshman Celeste West leads Garces girls to decisive win over Tehachapi

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Garces freshman Celeste West posted a double-double of 26 points and 16 rebounds to go with five blocked shots in the Rams 62-43 win over Tehachapi Wednesday night at Garces.
Celeste West repeatedly used her long 6-2 frame to post up in the paint for easy buckets as the Rams took an 18-point lead at the half.
Little sister Celeste had help from big sister, senior Rachol West, who chipped in with 18 points and seven assists.
The Rams improved their Southeast Yosemite League mark to 4-0, while Tehachapi dropped to 4-1.
Dani Peacon and Alyssa Garcia led the Warriors with 14 points each.
