FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State safety Phillip Thomas hopes to show off his talents and impress scouts Tuesday at the NFL Combine.
The former Bakersfield High standout was a unanimous All-American in 2012 after intercepting eight passes to lead the nation, three of which were returned for touchdowns.
Thomas also recorded 84 tackles, including four sacks. He had five pass breakups and four forced fumbles.
He's projected as a third round pick with an opportunity to possibly move up to the second round.
