BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Garces Cassidy Swift scored the game's only goal in the second half and the team held on through extra time to defeat Madera South, 1-0, Thursday night at Garces HS in a Division II quarterfinal matchup.
Swift took a pass in the crease, turned and beat the Madera South goalie for the tally.
The third-seeded Rams await news of their semifinal opponent.
