Rams run away in second half of win over Redwood

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Sheldon Croney took control of the game in the second half and led the Garces Rams to a 75-55 defeat of Visalia-Redwood in a Division II boys basketball quarterfinal Friday night at Garces High.
Croney scored six consecutive points in the third quarter to give the Rams a 43-33 lead.
Redwood played well in the first half and only trailed by five at the break but Garces offensive firepower, which included a strong game by Rashad Jackson, proved too much for the visitors.
