BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Golden Valley boys soccer team was frustrated by near-misses on too many occasions and lost, 1-0, to Ontario Tuesday afternoon in a Division II CIF State Regional contest at Golden Valley High.
Ontario scored the game's only goal in the second half to culminate a frustrating day for the Bulldogs.
Golden Valley had several solid scoring opportunities they couldn't cash in on in the first half as Ontario's defense turned the Bulldogs away time and time again.
