BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Former Bakersfield Blaze shortstop Billy Hamilton has been rated as the 11th best major league prospect according to MLB.com.
MLB.com ranked Hamilton at his spot for the top 100 players on their website.
Hamilton set an all-time single season record for stolen bases in 2012, with 155. For a career, he's stolen 320 bases in 379 minor league games.
He expects to begin the season for the Cincinnati Reds AA affiliate in Pensacola, Florida.
