BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Ridgeview, Stockdale girls; Independence boys garner top-seeds as high school basketball playoffs begin Tuesday night.
The Stockdale girls basketball team received a No. 1 seed in the Division I playoffs and the Ridgeview girls got their No. 1 seed in Division II.
The Independence boys, currently riding a 23-game winning streak, was the only other area team to receive a No. 1 seed. They're ready to go in Division III as postseason play is set to begin.
