BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Independence defeated Stockdale, 57-53, Tuesday night at Stockdale in a Southwest Yosemite League opener for both teams.
With the win, the Falcons won their 13th game in a row, as well as getting off on a positive note in SWYL play.
Independence guards D.J. Reed and Isaac Clark helped propel their team to victory with solid play from both ends of the floor.
