Bakersfield, Calif. - The Liberty football team has its work cut out Friday night when it travels to Clovis to take on the top-seeded Cougars in a Central Section Division I semifinal.
The Patriots aren't going to be intimidated. Liberty has already been a giant-killer this year when it defeated Bakersfield, 28-17, on October 5. The victory snapped the Drillers 17-game winning streak.
Liberty is currently riding its own modest three-game winning streak.
